So the difficult part of this technique is producing any type of kime on the kizama zuki. Do to the fact that this technique is hip open-> hip open it is difficult to get hip vibration. You can tell this technique is bad if your just poking out the jab. With the half step your hips are not in the shomen position.
ReplyDeleteIn an effort to add kime on the technique on the kizama zuki you need to be relaxed in the shoulders to allow speed on the jab but, focus on the retraction of the hand and the back hip at the same time. The speed of the hip opposite of the jab pulling back into a closed position can allow you to focus with both speed (relaxed on the jab = speed) and snap with the hip retraction allowing hip vibration in the technique.
